The installation work "My doomsday abode" utilizes Yosino paper—a type of filter paper commonly used in lacquerware production—as its material. During the preparatory process of creation, the paper fibers filter lacquer to leave behind residue, embodying a characteristic akin to a state of nirvana. Through actions of twisting, compressing, leaving residue, and subsequently unfolding the paper, traces emerge that reflect the struggles inherent in human life—a poignant expression of resilience and transformation.
