「漆藝大師」計畫Master of Lacquer Art Project

名稱取材來自1997年放映至今的周星馳電影《食神》經典台詞，「根本就沒有漆藝大師……或者人人都是漆藝大師……」作為藝術跨界的宣示，透過創建一個共享材料的場域，讓一群「參展者」能使用漆藝材料，抹除了工藝的技術性，材料會在展覽過程中產生甚麼變化?批評者、被批評者、實踐者、創造者、挑戰者、無聲者，將可透過這場跨域的實驗展覽，解構傳統與創新之間的關係。透過〈漆藝大師〉的概念，作品在展期中持續變化，實驗出不可預期的新作品與互動性的裝置空間，特別感謝藝術家柯宏棋、林宏璋、石佳蕙參與生產創造，表演藝術者簡詩翰、趙曼君、秋安騰產生藝術互動。

The project title takes its inspiration from a classic line in Stephen Chow’s 1997 film The God of Cookery. “There is no such thing as a lacquer master... or perhaps everyone is a lacquer master...”As a declaration of artistic cross-disciplinarity, this project establishes a shared material space where a group of co-exhibiting artists engage with lacquer materials—dissolving the technical boundaries of craft. What transformations might these materials undergo throughout the exhibition? Critics and the criticized, practitioners and creators, challengers and the silent—all are invited to deconstruct the relationship between tradition and innovation through this cross-disciplinary experimental exhibition. Rooted in the conceptual framework of Master of lacquer art, the work evolves continuously throughout the exhibition period, generating unpredictable new pieces and interactive installation spaces.
